JERRY MOSCOWITZ
for 2027 Residential Real Estate Council (RRC) Board of Directors

Listening First.
Leading with Service.
Building for the Future.

Your Voice on the Board of Directors
I’m Jerry Moscowitz, and I’m running for the 2027 Residential Real Estate Council (RRC) Board of Directors. Since earning my CRS designation in 2017, I’ve served RRC in several key leadership roles because I believe deeply in what this organization represents. I’m ready to listen, lead, and build a better future during a pivotal moment for the RRC as your Board member.
Why This Moment Matters
The real estate industry stands at a crossroads. As designation and certification programs multiply and technology reshapes our field, the Residential Real Estate Council needs Board members who bring both vision and empathy—leaders who listen first and ensure CRS remains the elite designation Realtors® are proud to pursue.
RRC must stand out by maintaining our high standards while reigniting passion among current members. This demands a strategic vision and unwavering commitment to the professionalism our clients and members depend on.
We need to inspire deeper engagement—showing members what RRC truly means to their careers and our profession. We cannot afford to take steps backward. That’s the balance your Board must strike, and that’s exactly what I’ll deliver.
Proven Governance Leadership
Board-Level Experience in Realtor® Organizations
Serving on a board means seeing all sides of governance and always thinking about how decisions will affect members and stakeholders. I’ve done this work, and I understand what is required at the board level. My governance experience includes:
- National Association of REALTORS Board of Directors (2026) — Serving Realtors® on the national level and contributing to industry-shaping governance
- RRC Region 6 Vice President (2025 & 2026) – Serving members across a multi-state region in the Midwest
- RRC President’s Advisory Group (2023 & 2024) – Helped shape strategic direction and governance policies
- CRS State President, Minnesota (2019 & 2020) – Built leadership infrastructure and member engagement
- Minneapolis Area Realtors® (MAR) President (2023) – Governed Minnesota’s largest local association through complex industry challenges
A Personal Connection to RRC Excellence
In 2017, I earned my CRS designation, and it changed my career. The RRC became an organization where I wanted to serve in leadership because I saw firsthand the value it provides. That personal experience informs how I govern—always remembering what matters most to the members we serve.
Recognition for Service & Impact
- REMAX Results Shining Star Award (2021)
- MAR Realtor® of the Year (2021)
- Minnesota Realtors® Good Neighbor Award (2021)
- MAR Good Neighbor Award (2024)
- REMAX Lifetime Achievement Award
My 39-year commitment to Toys for Tots, resulting in over 15,000 toys donated, reflects the same servant leadership approach I bring to governance.
My Vision for the RRC Board
Building RRC’s Future Through Member Engagement
The RRC must be the answer for our members in an increasingly competitive certification & education marketplace. This requires:
- Igniting Member Passion – Getting current members more active and engaged with what the CRS designation truly means
- Elevating the CRS Brand – Making CRS an elite designation that stands apart in a crowded education field
- Education Excellence – Improving programs and growing membership without compromising the high standards that define us
- Member-Focused Governance – Making board-level decisions that prioritize what members need to succeed
A Personal Connection to RRC Excellence
Experience doesn’t change, but the industry does. Effective board governance requires listening first, leading with service, and building for the future through:
- Listening to member voices before making decisions
- Understanding state-level education needs across diverse markets
- Balancing growth ambitions with quality standards
- Making difficult calls that serve the organization’s future
I bring vision and empathy to this board, along with many years of experience making the kinds of decisions that position real estate organizations for success.
Join Me in Serving RRC’s Future
The Board of Directors shapes everything that happens at RRC. This is where we protect our standards, engage our members, and ensure that the Certified Residential Specialist designation remains the elite standard in real estate education.
I’m honored to run for this position, and I’m ready to serve with the same commitment I’ve brought to every leadership role: Listening first. Leading with service. Building for the future.
