A little about me
Chris Trygstad is the Director of Marketing and Interactive Strategy at North American Systems International. In addition to working full-time, I also attend the evening MBA program at the University of St. Thomas.
Contacting me
You can email me at chris@livinginminnesota.com, but that may not be the best way to interface with me, considering all of the new ways we can correspond. Why not follow me on Twitter? (or Plurk, or Jaiku, or for that matter) You can also see a little of what I’m up to on my Facebook or LinkedIn profiles as well.
Am I available for work?
Not necessarily, with a projected graduation of spring, 2010 from the MBA program, my hands are kind of tied. I have no commitment to stay at my current employer beyond my graduation date because of tuition reimbursement arrangements or whatnot. So, as time progresses, I’ll eventually have to figure out what I want to be “when I grow up” and graduate, but I’m no hurry.
What interests me?
Two (squishy) words: interactive marketing. I know its very broad, but this field is something that interests me greatly. In addition to work and school, I’m also a member of MIMA. I know PHP, XHTML, CSS, MySQL and Javascript, just enough to be dangerous, in addition to my marketing and experience. Combine that with experience in IT, and having to understand and market highly technical solutions in the rapidly evolving world of corporate IT, and I think I have the perfect blend of technical and business background to really excel in this up-and-coming practice, and hope to be able to utilize all of these skills with future opportunities.
